Space Rental and Event Planning at the Aldo Castillo Gallery
The Aldo Castillo Gallery Event Planning Program has been designed to provide clients with a unique location,
full and professional services and an artistic, cultural ambiance for any event.

Clients seeking to use the Gallery Event Planning services will experience benefits that include a preferred list
of professional caterers, consultants, parking, etc.
Rental Guidelines
By opening the facilities of the Aldo Castillo Gallery for special events, clients are welcome to enjoy the
Gallery’s innovative cultural programs and important art collection. The Gallery retains the right to regulate or
refuse any event, if in its judgment; the event could endanger the art, the educational and research mission,
or conflict with other commitments.
Reservations
Space reservations are recommended to be made within 4 weeks in advance with a 50% deposit. Full payment
is due the day of the event.
Cancellation fees:
$250 is non-refundable
100% of rental fees is non-refundable within 7 days of event date
Capacity
§ Buffet dinners may not exceed 120, providing all Gallery spaces.
§ Sit-down dinners may accommodate up to 80 people.
§ Wine/bar receptions may accommodate 120 guests with enough room for eight-twelve highboy tables (no
seating).
§ Seated lectures, conferences, and meetings accommodate approximately 70 chairs, with minimal space
for a podium and/or projector screen. Arrangements and costs for all rental furnishings (audio-visual
equipment is the responsibility of the Renter unless agreed with Aldo Castillo Gallery).
Availability
The Gallery is available for receptions most weekdays and during the weekends. Preparation by the caterers
and set-up of the space may begin two/three hours prior to the event.
Space Rental Rates
The following rates are based on a four-hour minimum. Should the event exceed four hours, overtime charges
will be $175.00 per hour.
Individuals
Weekdays (Monday Thursday) $1500.00
Weekends (Friday Sunday) $1800.00
Corporations
Weekdays (Monday Thursday) $2000.00
Weekends (Friday Sunday) $2500.00
Non-Profit Organizations and Parties Less Than Thirty People
Weekdays and Weekend are both $1,200
Payment Information
50% deposit is due upon signing the contract and final payment is due the day of the event.

General Limitations
§ The Renter is fully responsible for any damage to the Gallery’s premises, contents, or persons caused by
the Renter, Caterer, Agents, and/or Guests. The Renter must agree to pay the Gallery for any damage, loss
or injury to the Gallery.
§ Smoking is absolutely prohibited.
§ Decorations should not be fire hazardous.
§ Gallery exhibits will remain open for viewing during set-up.
§ Red wine is prohibited, unless otherwise indicated.
§ Photography of the artwork is not allowed without permission.
§ The Gallery is not responsible for set-up.
§ The Gallery is not responsible for removal, loss or damage of rented party supplies/furniture.
§ Set-up and removal must be supervised by the Renter, Caterer or the Aldo Castillo Gallery and should be
executed within in a reasonable and agreed time frame.
§ The facilities should remain clean, presentable and safe during the set-up, the course of the event and
breaking down.
§ Requests for an extension of event times are available. However, we recommend that you check with a
Gallery Representative.
§ All deliveries must be done during Gallery hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 11 – 6, unless otherwise
indicated.
§ The Gallery is closed on most major Holidays. Please speak with a Gallery Representative for flexibility
and exact dates.
§ Access to entryways must remain clear at all times.
§ The Gallery retains the right to change or advise on table arrangement.
