The Aldo Castillo Gallery only issues Certificates of Authenticity and Appraisals of works sold in the past by the gallery and from artist represented by the gallery.
To obtain a certificate of authenticity or an art appraisal, the following documents are required:
- Professional photograph(s) of the work
- Information in writing about provenance
- Receipt of previous purchase of said work.
The price of each certificate varies approximately from $250 to $5000 per work. The costs are the same if we find out or suspect a work of art is a forgery, stolen, or purchased on the black market. We retain the right of not giving opinions or certificates in extenuating circumstances.
